#282 – The Rock v Chris Jericho, Royal Rumble 2002, January 20, 2002
This week on the show, Dre and the Black Cat travel way back to 2002 to revisit (or visit for the first time?) an incredibly hot match between two of the most charismatic performers in the history of professional wrestling – The Rock and the Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla. In the second half of the show we find out of Bobby Heenan is really a weasel. Thanks for listening and we’ll see you…at the matches!

Until this episode I never once thought about whether WWE announcer tables were reused after breaking. Now I figure they must be built like those “old man karate” punching boards. Unlike ECW, I assume Vince doesn’t want one of his stars impaled on a jagged piece of particle board so it makes sense to have (slightly) safer re-breakable tables.
