I just want to say that Black Cat is actually correct about the Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels Ladder Match happening before the Razor/Michaels Ladder Match.
The Bret/Shawn match is available on the WWE Network right now on one of the Coliseum Videos, or you can find it on Daily Motion.
As always, this was a really good and informative episode. To be honest, this is the only podcast I make a point to listen too…..which is gokd for y’all…maybe not me. Haha.
Anyway, I would like to say the Blackcat was right when he was talking about that Micheals vs. Hart ladder match in ’92. It was filmed for WWF Wresling Challenge. For some reason it never aired. It was on some DVD that came out. I had it when I was like six. I broke it.
I’m 18 now so obviously I wasnt around when the match was filmed but that is what I remember combined with what I researched.
As I write this I am in the middle of listen to this episode during the pitch to Vince this remind me of what I seen today. Early today I was told by my dad to turn on METV. So I turn it on what did I see “The Love Boat” with Hulk Hogan, Bruce Jenner, and Tim Rossovich (which is some dude who play in the NFL in the 70’s). One of the stories from this season nine episode is Jenner & Rossovich are pro wrestlers and the BIG MATCH is on the American Wrestling Network on the boat with Hulkster as guest play by play man. Jenner is dating Rossovich sister and it’s a blood feud leading up to the BIG MATCH on the Love Boat. The match was so bad between Rossovich & Jenner, Hogan runs in and attacks both men. Then Hulk pose in the ring because why Hulk must pose BROTHER! I assume this is where Chris Jericho got the idea for the wrestle-rock cruise.
