Regarding old lady wrestling fans: Neither of my Grandmas introduced me to wrestling, or even really watched by the time I became a fan in the early 80s, but both of them apparently enjoyed it quite a bit back in the day. Whenever I happened to bring up wrestling with either of them, Whipper Billy Watson was always their reference point. That handsome devil made quite an impression.

Regarding David Crockett’s unconditional support for all the babyfaces: I was recently watching an old episode of Mid-Atlantic wrestling, where Magnum TA legit sexually assaulted Baby Doll during an interview segment. Magnum forced himself on her in an unwanted liplock that went in for an uncomfortable amount of time. The whole time David Crockett looked on with a shit-eating grin, trying to get a better vantage point. Gross.

When Baby Doll managed to release herself from Magnum’s clutches, she deservingly slapped Him across the face. The heroic wrestler responded by violently tearing off her clothing. Meanwhile, David was positively beaming. It reminded me of The Accused.

When Tully came out to defend her honour, David Crockett finally physically inserted himself into the situation; however he did so by attempting to pull Tully off of Magnum. What a piece of work.

Good stuff fellas. I’d be happy if you just continued reviewing old WCWSN episodes like this for the rest of your run.
