Now that the WWE Network has the Tommy Rich vs Buzz Sawyer “last battle of Atlanta” match you guys have to review it.it has blood,tommy rich,blood,tommy rich and world class psycho Buzz Sawyer.In other words it is steel cage 2 year fued blow off awesome.
And if you guys could book Tommy Rich’s mother for that show that would be awesome because as we all know,Tommy is a good boy.
-You guys talking about how big rap was back in 1991. The trash band Anthrax and the rap group Public Enemy tour together in they closed each concerts with “bring the noise” in fact Anthrax had a rap/rock song “I’m the man” showed up on their masterpiece of an album “among the living” from 1987. Also Ice-T crossover with his metal/rap band “Body Count”. Sadly the rap/rock styles die off when P.O.D. come one the scene.
-The topic of where the creation of Johnny B Bad come from? The idea was a Dusty creation. Marc Mero drove eight hours from Venice Florida to get beat up for $150. Dusty seen Marc during one of his matches on the t.v. monitor and was called back to Dusty’s office. Mero thinking he was going to get a talking to about a move he screwed up on, but instead Dusty ask “Hey did anyone tell you look like Little Richard?”
The next thing Mero knew he was called again to Dusty office had a contract waiting telling have his lawyer to look over it. Start off his first year 75 grand, now since Mero was making 13 grand and digging swimming pools he just signed the contract right there in Dusty’s office. Sadly the robes Marc would come to the ring well he thrown them out in the garbage. In the interview with JR he does regret throwing them out because he could have sold them now and made some cash on the robes.
Excellent episode as usual guys! Hey a quick request… Could you start reviewing some of the old WWF Coliseum VHS videos? Apologies if you’ve already done some of these in earlier seasons. I think they would make for some great shows! Especially the weird ones like Biggest Strangest and Strongest. Nothing triggers that childhood nostalgia quite like the opening theme song for Coliseum Video.
