I remember switching over to watch this match during halftime of the Super Bowl. I think I was watching the game by myself at home. But I was 15, so it’s less sad.

I also remember hating the finish of the match. Putting a pallet on the guy and pinning him, NOT ON THE GROUND. He was on top of a pallet or at least the jacks of the forklift. THIS WAS NOT A LEGAL PIN. Other than that, I recall loving the rest of it. And I have no recollection of missing half of the third quarter of the Super Bowl. Must have been a great game.

  2. Joe from Big Bean says:

First off Happy New Year guys.

Living in Alton, Illinois (outside St. Louis) at the time and being a Rams fan I could wait for two things on Super Sunday The Rock-Foley empty arena match and waiting for the dumb game to be over so I could watch The Simpsons (where homer goes to the superbowl); also the premiere of a little show called “family guy”.

The only thing I remember about Super Bowl itself that Falcons player getting arrested night before the game. Also some guy last game.

  3. Robert from Vienna says:

I spent the first three weeks of January in Nepal, treking in face of the Himalaya mountains.

Here or there i got WiFi so I was able to download this show.

Listening in my sleeping bag (one night we had -13° Celsius/8,6 Fahrenheit) really warmed my heart.

    That’s called hardcore podcast listening i presume…

    Peace

    Robert from Vienna

  4. Hello!
I am author of Personal Demon and Monsters Manual for Atomic Elbow. It’s always fun to do something for Robert’s zine. As he said – there is problem to get my stuff in US/Canada BUT it’s going to change. There are, at least, two wrestling related titles on the way which will be published in US (and next strips in anthologies/zines).

Can’t find your e-mail adress here, so check out your facebook account – left you some links via pm.

You are doing good job, listened to few episodes and i’ll stay here longer 🙂

    Cheers!
